Our boxer has a skin disease that kept recurring until the vet found an antihistamine that worked for her. Being seniors I'm not sure we could have afforded to keep her on that medication over a long period of time but with Trupanion she is living to her potential without pain.

Submitting a claim is easy
I bought insurance for our dog because we rescued her. We were not sure what health conditions we would encounter. I am glad we have the insurance because after the yearly deductible I get a portion of the bill back. She now has some health issues and the insurance has helped in the vet and medicine bills. The monthly premium is a little high, but that is because the plan we have. If you are looking for pet insurance, look at the plans ASPCA has to offer.
