Expensive for return.

The cost for insurance has been the deterrent to most of my friends that I recommend Trupanion to. Your determination to not pay for the three/four $29.00 dr. visits were for bandage changes, definitely a part of the surgery and not just a follow up office visit.

I love Trupanion.

Fast easy claim to reimbursement time. I love this insurance plan for Brady my Boston terrier. I have had the best experience since I started Brady on this plan over 4 years years ago. It's affordable and covers his allergy medication and much more. I have recommended this to all my family and friends. Many have also chosen trupanion as their pet insurance. Excellent Customer service too.

Trupanion pet insurance. ?????

I can not say enough good things about Trupanion. My little guy was diagnosed with pancreatitis and Trupanion as been a saving grace. Never a question/ problem with any claims. I would recommend Trupanion to every person who has a family pet. The last thing anyone should worry about is how to pay the Vet bills, your only concern should be is doing everything needed to care for your baby.

Super fast claims!

Great claims department. Very very quick. I love how easy it is to use. Only downside is how expensive my premiums are and that I have to purchase an additional policy rider for 'œalternative care'

PAWS DOWN THE BEST!

I researched pet insurance for my dog for about 2 months, there were so many options and I just couldn't commit. I found that Healthy Paws was repeatedly ranked very highly and had great reviews, not to mention the fact that their premiums and deductible were less than every other carrier. Their terms were also super easy to read and understand unlike other companies who seemed to have so many stipulations and exclusions. I've had Healthy Paws for almost 2 years now and only recently have I really had to use it as my dog has a GI issue that is proving to be difficult to diagnose. I'm SO glad I went with them over other carriers, they cover all of my dog's procedures and medication, no questions asked, and the reimbursement is in my checking account within a day or two. It is such a giant relief that I have Healthy Paws, I can get every procedure my dog needs done without having to think about it.

Embrace your furbabies for peace of mind

This is the first time we have ever purchased insurance for our furbabies. We decided when we adopted a 9 year old Scottish Terrier rescue and then an 8 week old Scottish terrier puppy that we would look into pet insurance due to our previous scottie rescue that we adopted at 3 years old became sick at age 11 and the monthly medical expenses were so high we couldn't afford to go to specialist to find out what the underlying problem was. We had to rely on the local vet who just threw multiple medications at her and she passed away 6 months later. We were devastated and decided if we ever adopted another rescue we would have insurance. The 9 year old rescue was healthy except for allergies, which is a pre-existing condition and not covered by any insurance. We actually thought we wouldn't be able to afford the insurance because it would be too expensive on a senior scottie. We looked into several different insurance companies and liked the fact that we could pick the amount of coverage and deductible we wanted or could afford. We also were insuring our puppy. We inquired with several companies and decided on Embrace. After paying our first month premium, we requested a complete medical review so we knew what was covered and what wouldn't be covered so there wouldn't be any surprises. The insurance was a decent price for 2 scotties. 6 months after purchasing the insurance our senior was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I sent in the claim and it was approved within 1 week. Recently our rescue was diagnosed with a tumor on her eye and they found a mass under her tongue. I sent in a pre-auth to find outif it was covered. Received the answer and what they approved and what our out of pocket cost would be. They covered most of the surgery and minus the deductible knew what we were responsible for. Thanks to Embrace, we were able to get the surgery she needed. They covered everything they said they would. We feel at ease knowing that we don't have to worry about whether we can afford getting the best medical care when our furbabies get sick or injured because Embrace has us covered.

Easy, cost-effective, and it actually works

I've had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for my dog since she was a pup--going on 5 years now. Customer service is very responsive and easy to work with. Claims are VERY easy to submit (you just take a picture of your vet bill and submit--that's it) and reimbursement has never been an issue. I've never had a claim denied, never had to argue with HP over anything, never had any issues. The only catch is that over the life of your pet and its policy, your premium will slowly increase. But even so, one covered emergency visit/overnight hospitalization will basically allow you to break even. If your pet is unfortunate enough to suffer multiple health complications, the policy will pay for itself and then some. Highly, highly recommend for any pet owner that doesn't want to have to weigh the cost of care versus the well-being of their pet.

Good Process with certain exceptions.

It's quite good just sometimes the coverage is not the best which fluctuates the deductible part is always confusing.
