Dishonest customer service
Dishonest customer service. They canceled the coverage for one of my two dogs and then doubled the premium. They did this because he turned 7 years old. They lied that payment hadn't been made when the premium has always been set to auto withdrawal from my bank account and payment had been withdrawn for my six year old dog. Very sketchy and unethical.

The Embrace customer service experience - Second to None
The Embrace customer service experience is second to none. Every time I have needed assistance, they have treated me and my need with respect, courtesy, and diligence. They care about their pet parents. Also, the value for the pet coverage is 100% worth it. After having experienced caring for a very ill pet that required many vet visits and subsequent large vet bills, I know first hand how valuable Embrace Pet Insurance can be. They saved me thousands of dollars as well as providing me and my fur children with a first class customer service experience and care.

If I could give this company a 0 I…
If I could give this company a 0 I would. I have one of my dogs on this insurance and another with a different company. Each had their benefits so I thought I would try one each and see which one is better. Found out pretty quick. I rescued a pup and got the Fetch insurance right away. I have had him 4 months now and he is a very active sweetheart. One day he was eating and got spooked and choked in his food. The next day it appeared his back hurt. Took him to emergency vet thinking my insurance would cover it. I got denied everything because the diagnosis was back pain. It didn’t even cover the emerg appointment to get diagnosis. It took almost 2 weeks to get the denial. By then I had done a recheck to test and verify everything was ok. He was fine after 5 days of meds and had I known he wasn’t covered he would never have needed a recheck. My dog is fine now but it cost me over $1200. Everywhere I looked it said a 6 month waiting period on hip and knee, not back pain. Had I know I would have gone with the other insurance because my guy is very active. I called today and they said it is all orthopedic conditions which include muscles/tendons/ bones/ligaments. Like what’s the point of even paying for insurance. I read the small print and sure enough….it is not right to advertise just hip or knee…. Terrible company. My other insurance is way better so far. But how is this right? Now because of this I will be excluded from any back related illnesses even though xray showed nothing and my dog was hurting in the back region…… Stay away! I appealed but now I get to wait another month and the doctor didn’t give a definite diagnosis. She just said it was back spasm and if it didn’t resolve it could be IVDD. It resolved and he is doing great right now.

Finding Good Pet Insurance
Finding good pet insurance can be a challenge, but I was very happy to find out that Metropolitan, who has reliably provided me with dental insurance for several years, also offered pet insurance policies. From reputation and my own personal experience, I knew that Metropolitan was an insurer that operated with the basics of fair claims practices, affordability, coverage that you can tailor to the needs of your pet and almost best of all, Met has claims representatives that you can actually get on the phone with to get help and answers. The peace of mind of knowing that my cat can be taken care of if needed is priceless to any pet owner. I would easily recommend Metropolitan Pet Insurance to anyone looking for that.

Terrible company, does not honor their policy
I can't believe this company. Our 8 month old golden retriever puppy is showing signs of elbow and hip displasia and needs corrective surgery. Fetch is denying our claims because he's showing signs in the first 6 months of his life, how that is relavent is unknown to me. I understand insurance and know that the surgery will be expensive but that's why we bought their highest level just to be sure we're covered. We're not at all. No where in the contract we signed does it mention this and they are absolutely denying any wrong doing. Meanwhile our little baby suffers because of their greed. Stay far away from them, our poor little Rollo is doomed because of them.

Helped Me with a Major Expense with No Hassle
I decided to get insurance when a friend's dog came down with a grave illness, and they didn't have the money to care for her. So I decided to look into pet insurance for my guy before something like this happened to us. It is fairly expensive, partially because I got the plan that covers upkeep medications etc as well as emergencies. Plus my dog did get a hernia this year and had to have a surgery that was very expensive. I still looked around and found a surgeon at a better cost than the city veternarians, and between that and Met Life it worked out very well. I got my paperwork done, and have figured out how to get repaid when a major thing comes up. I feel good about this choice for my dog.
