Nationwide has Augie's side!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is absolutely the best! I have my 3 dogs insured and are really pleased with the ease of submitting a claim, the pricing of the plan, and the extensive coverage. I have recommended it to many friends and most of them have signed up.

Awesome

So happy I kept this pet insurance for Ragaee, my pet toy poddle….he became suddenly ill, losing protein...stayed in hospital for a couple of days, on IV, steroids then he bounced back...now he's return to his high-spirited loving self...my home was not the same without him but the vet professionals and support group restored him....very thankful and especially thankful the NW Ins, and just think, I almost terminated it last year and I'm so happy I didn't b/c the reimbursement soften the blow on his care costs....thank you Nationwide!

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS INSURANCE!

BEWARE the BILATERAL EXCLUSION!!!! We purchased this policy in June and three months later our 3-year-old border collie developed problems with her left CCL, was in pain and was in need of surgery. We called Pets Best and the agent explained to us that we had not met the 6-month waiting period so that surgery would not be covered. This was not a problem as I was aware of the 6-month waiting period. However, we were not aware that this would exclude coverage on the other CCL down the road!!! It would have been nice for the agent at that time to remind us of this exclusion, but no, that was not the case. I did read the policy but not word-for-word (I mean, who has the time?) and I apparently either missed or did not fully understand the implications of this "bilateral exclusion" clause. These companies bank of the fact that people are busy, there is a high probability they will not read the policy in its entirety and they will either miss or miss understand the implications of these ridiculous exemption clauses. There is no peace of mind with this pet policy. We've paid almost $8,000 in surgeries for our dog this year and Pets Best covered $0, nothing, nada, not a pill, zippo. The annual premium was $735 for 2 young dogs and I wish I would have put that money into an account instead of wasting it on this policy. Learn from my pain and save your time and money. F- Rating!

Best company ever. Has helped us with several pets in the past and now with Nike.

We have had a couple of dogs insured with your company. You have been a blessing in the very worst of times and the best. The premium went up this time but Nike who is a German Pinscher is now 10 years old and its understandable. I do hope that the premium doesn't continue to increase every year on out. The staff is fantastic and extremely courteous and helpful. Thank you.

Very quick turn around service.

I've had a very busy month with three dogs suffering from a variety of problems all of a sudden. While all of them are doing much better, I am so happy to have had the insurance to help offset the vet bills.

Chose a new company

Super disappointed with their coverage. I selected the ultimate plan and didn't find out until I filed a claim that it doesn't cover vet visits. I pay $17/month and only got $32.50 toward my deductible on a $150 vet bill. I also can't add appointment coverage until I renew my plan next year. They also don't cover parasites although my cat already had them when I adopted him. Their customer service team won't budge and take a long time to respond, even in live chats.

Nationwide IS on your side

Response to claim was timely, re-imbursement also prompt. Just wish same coverage available but with smaller deductable, esp. now.
