Fast claim processing, poor payout
The claim experience itself, from filing to payment in account, actually went very smoothly and quickly. That was pretty amazing. My unhappiness comes from the exclusions of the examination that was needed to diagnose the problem. Ultimately you paid $34.20 on a $348 bill. Pretty expensive insurance for such little support when you need it.

I'm wondering if pet insurance, mot just your company, is really worth it. I guess it is in case of a catastrophic illness. All insurance is a gamble, though. Heads you win, tails I lose. A $700 deductible renders most claims unpayable.

Saved our babies life.
Trupanion has definitely saved our babies life. He is a hemophiliac English bulldog puppy, and has had SEVERAL hospital stays because of his condition. Without Trupanion I don't believe we could have afforded the little mans bills without taking out loans. We are just happy that the conversation of Keeping the little man alive due to money has never been an option for us. Thank you Trupanion.

I have previously used a different pet insurance and they were very hard to deal with reimbursements would take at least a month to receive and the rates were very high.
I have previously used a different pet insurance and they were very hard to deal with, reimbursements would take at least a month to receive and the rates were very high. Customer service thru Trupanion has been great and the plans are much more flexible and reasonable.
