I feel that my dog is well taken care of and the claims are processed quickly and the direct pay with certain vet hospitals has been a life saver! My dog has been taken care throughout his treatment and it has left me with ease. I’ll get my reimbursements quickly and claims are processed quickly and my money put directly into my bank account. I am beyond grateful to have Ramona insured. That being said I was not made a aware of the sign up fee. Happy to pay it. I was only made aware once I signed up and received the email. It just puts a bad taste in my mouth. And frankly makes the company look bad. I say that because insurance companies get a bad reputation and it is expected by most. So to be made aware of this after I’ve registered and provided my banking information it’s deceptive. I know it’s done like that. Just see that “sign up fee” even though I did the signing up myself online, makes me feel I could get burned by Trupanion based on the fact I’ve enrolled her less than 48 hours ago and there is already a secret fee.
