Had to file a claim and received payment within a week. Claim was filed online and was very simple to file. Hopefully I won't have to file another claim but if I do, I feel confident it will be just as easy.

too much work on my part and one claim…
too much work on my part and one claim and rate went up. seems vca and trupanion dont really work well together on billing then i saw my rate went from 130 a month to 160 after a pre authorization for surgery but "had nothing to do with my dog's surgery". i am thinking of ending my plan as i did it since vca recommended and frankly don't see the two working together well

Exceptional Customer Experience
I’ve had MetLife pet insurance since my dog was a puppy and I have had the best experience. It’s been very easy to contact customer service, get my questions answered, submit claims and get reimbursed. I had to double my coverage since vet costs have been raised substantially, but I honestly would not recommend going without it.
