Trupanion allows our vet to submit our claims for us, so it couldn’t be easier. The claim is acknowledge via email within a day or so of submission and reimbursement (Trupanion enables you to set up direct deposit) is always so prompt. Easy and excellent coverage!

Amazed by this insurance
I shopped around for a long time to get the best dog insurance when we got our first puppy, an English Setter. Fast forward 4 years later we now also using Healthy Paws for our second puppy a Cockapoo. I have been nothing but amazed and pleased with this insurance! Super easy website, so easy to submit your claims and very fast payment. Not expensive, well worth the monthly payment. I have used the insurance for my English Setter who managed to put his nose where it did not belong, got porcupine quills in his snout and in his mouth! He just recently tore his ACL, his life is running so he really needed it. ( a $3500.00 surgery!!) I thank myself for getting this awesome insurance ! I just found out that if "Sky", my English setter, needs rehab according to the Vet. they will cover that too!! I could not believe it ! I only with my insurance for my 2 horses where this good...

I never thought I would ever need pet insurance . I have a extremely active healthy outdoors dog. One day he became incredibly sick so I rushed him to the vets. He needed emergency surgery since he had swallowed something. Was quoted 4,000 - 6,000 for the surgery which I did not have. I paid with a credit card hoping I could get a claim through quickly. Trupanion paid the claim within about a week. Walking away with my dog healthy and happy for only a couple hundred bucks thanks to trupanion made the ordeal bearable.

I’m very impressed. I got my refund within 30 days.
My Greta had to have emergency surgery to remove some rocks she had swallowed. I was refunded within 30 days the full amount (minus deductible of course). I am so grateful I had Nationwide Pet Insurance.
