Worth Every Penny
Don't let their premium scare you into a lesser provider. When my female started having mysterious elbow pain, Embrace covered every diagnostic cost, and is now covering all of the expenses associated with her rehabilitation and long-term care (including acupuncture!!). I am so thankful to have them so that I could afford to do the full spectrum of diagnostics and not have to "guess" at a solution for my pup. The pet portal is easy to use, claims are processed quickly, and the customer service team is top-notch and very empathetic (we don't always think straight when our pups are hurting!). My only complaint is that I didn't opt for the RX coverage on both dogs, and increasing coverage results in another set of waiting periods and any accidents/illness covered before you up the coverage is considered pre-existing.

The most down-to-earth and friendly people you could ever hope to deal with. There is no haggling to get your claim paid out. If it is anything other than routine preventative care they will cover it without giving you any headache. Great people all around.

I think this survey needs to be fixed; it's too light and hard to follow; my review is that Nationwide knows how to run an insurance company. My two French bulldogs are like family and they get the best care and attention from Tender Care of San Rafael. Dr. Griffith is amazing and never fails to call me or follow up. I love the reminders given by the organization about appointments, etc. I have referred tons of folks to Nationwide and I intend to keep going. Don't stop what you are doing. Take over the pet insurance business as you know how to do it. thank you, Thank you, Dr. Pat FitzGerald (below is for fish oil not treatment, FYI)

When the unthinkable happends, Embrace Pet Insurance comes through for our family
After a fairly routine cryptorchid procedure, our English Lab Luke got a nasty post-op infection. We had to rush him to the Emergency Vet at 11 PM. He had a long surgery to help drain and clear the infection. I was worried that it would not be covered by insurance because we didn't take out the wellness insurance for the neuter (we could afford to pay the neuter fee, why take out ins for that, right?) I downloaded the claim forms, filled them out, uploaded them and sent them in. Records were requested from the clinics involved in his care, and the claims were processed and paid within 4-5 days. The plan we chose was a reasonable monthly fee, and a $300 deductible for 80% is better insurance for my pet, then my own healthcare coverage! Our stress was sure less after receiving the email that a check on was on its way to us. I have looked at several other companies, Embrace was the BEST choice for our family. The ease of the process was about as seamless as it gets. Thanks again ~ Luke and his humans are greatful

Outstanding service
My dog recently had a problem with his skin. This meant trips to the vet and some healthy charges. I put in a claim and received notification by e-mail that there was news on it. Since I'm not very good with the computer, I phoned and was helped almost immediately by a representative named James. There were-no endless menus and time waiting on the phone.. He told me that I would be getting a check soon. Finally a place where you talk to a person and not a machine, where you are treated like a customer, where you go away satisfied. I'm very satisfied that what I put into my monthly insurance payment is well worth it.

Great insurance and very easy to use!
My dog, Max, was playing in the backyard and ended up limping back inside. Come to find out he tore a ligament in his left knee. I signed up with Healthy Paws a year prior which took away the financial stress of the situation. The vet told me surgery was the only option and would cost close to $4,000.00. I called Healthy Paws and they had exceptional customer service. They walked me through how to use the app (which is extremely easy to use). I was reimbursed within weeks after submitting the claim. A few days after the claim was settled I even received a personalized email from a representative asking how the surgery went and how Max was healing up. They really go out of their way to make sure their customers feel like family. I highly recommend getting insurance on your pets and I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Really happy that we have this pet insurance and that they are willing to review conditions that improve over time. Last time we had pet insurance the premiums kept going up and the covered going down. Staff are very pleasant to deal with and are knowledgeable and helpful. Every time I call my questions are answered and explained well. last claim took less than one week to process!! Great coverage and glad we joined.
