Incredibly Fast Service
We were on vacation in California when Billie started walking/acting differently. As overbearing new pet owners we found a pet urgent care and followed their directions. Billie was up being her young puppy self in days. The insurance was invaluable!! And the VitusVet app is so easy to use. We were reimbursed in less then a weeks time. Thank you Nationwide for your care of our little girl during this scary time. Every pet owner needs to Have Nationwide!!

Best thing we have ever done for our pet!
Nationwide has always processed our claims quickly and I have always been reimbursed for covered veterinary services. They have great customer service agents that are helpful and caring. I have had insurance for both dogs for 4 years and it has been the best decision we could have made. They covered Bella’s knee surgery and that made the whole thing so much less stressful.

Greatest pet insurance ever!
They are full of compassion and understanding of what pet parents go through during their pet illness. My beloved dog passed away last week at the age of 5 after a brief struggle with liver disease. She will always stay in our hearts, and you know what else will be there !? The way HealthyPaws gave us piece of mind during her illness by assuring us they will cover everything with no limits so she can get better. The way they processed the claim (which we submit after the dog passed away) in less than 24 hours!! you can tell they did that in a full understanding of what we are going through, let alone the very sincere condolences they sent us, and the fact they canceled the policy on their own. I greatly appreciate HealthyPaws insurance and surely they will be my pet insurance forever. I encourage any pet parent not to even think twice, nothing is more important than the health of your companion, and HealthyPaws are the company to take care of that.

SO Greatful for Nationwide
I was excited to get my new puppy but had no idea what it really meant to care for a dog. Our pet has had a few unexpected illnesses and I was so greatful the Nationwide was here for us. I feel that the support has made it possible for our puppy to have a full recovery and he is happy, healthy and thriving. He are all happy and grateful!

Proved they really do what they say
Healthy Paws covered my 1-year old Golden Retrievers expensive and unexpected surgery without an issue or question. They even followed up a week later with an email saying they hoped Oliver was doing better. I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

the worst-deny everything-
Our dog had pre-existing stomach issues so any GI issue was denied due to it being categorized as a "pre-existing condition"-Yes, trupanion is trump care. However, when our dog had any other issue-spleen, or anything else, they continued to categorize it as a GI issue to deny every claim. When I asked the name and qualifications of the vets reviewing our claims it turned out that trupanion's claim analysts are not vets-most likely someone with a high school education receiving bonuses to deny claims.
