Unfortunately, my Frenchie needed emergency spinal surgery about 4 weeks ago and it took us by surprise... and we needed to act fast. She was in a lot of pain and we thought we were going to have to put her down actually. Because I knew that I had Nationwide coverage, I was able to very comfortably tell them to go ahead with the surgery on the spot. Nationwide covered her exactly as promised with no issues whatsoever. I never have to sorry about haggling or loopholes in their policy. They do what they say they will do ... and they do it quickly. Many thx to Nationwide - I will never use anyone else.

Easy and dependable
I was very impressed with the ease of submitting my claim and also the payment. They were clear with me in regard to what/wasn't covered and very fair. I was skeptical in buying pet insurance but wanted to protect myself to some extent in case something happens. I think this insurance works as intended and I'm very happy with how they've addressed my claims so far.

The best ever decision for my dog
My 5-year old female Pomeranian accidentally broke one of her front leg two months ago. At first I chose the most economical treatment option of putting a splint on her injured leg with a hope that it could heal itself. Unfortunately after taking a few radiographs the fracture was diagnosed a non-union one. My Vet recommended me to see an orthopedic specialty soon. The orthopedic Vet suggested a fracture repair surgery after reading her X-rays. I was speechless when I was quoted a surgery cost of $6k. “It’s so lucky that I bought a pet insurance from Healthy Paws last year”, a thought popped up on my mind when I was reading the written quote. My dog’s surgery was a success. She recovers very well. She now walks on a leash three times a day, 10 minutes each time. Her orthopedic Vet saw her last week and confirmed that her recovery progress was satisfactory. My girl is very lucky and blessed to have Healthy Paws financially back her up after this unexpected accident occurred. Heathy Paws makes claims simple and easy. Each time after I filled out a few columns online and uploaded my Vet bill, a check from Healthy Paws was delivered to me within a week, no unreasonable exclusions. I even received a check on email from Mr. Tim Weiss at Healthy Paws to see how my dog is recovering. Thank you Tim for dropping me a line to show your concern and love. The best ever decision I’ve made for my girl is to insure with Healthy Paws.

Love Nationwide
I love having nationwide for my puppy. I have a teacup puppy and you never know when an accident could happen with them being so tiny. Every time I have called to speak with someone if I had a question everyone was so helpful and went above and beyond with little or no wait time. I feel like my pet has a better insurance plan than me lol. The only complaint I have is if you submit a claim and if for some reason it is blurry on nationwides end or if they need additional information they don’t contact you or let you know, you have to contact them. Besides that nationwide RULES!
