Claim process and reimbursement took over a month

Customer service was always friendly; however, my veterinarian submitted the requested documents over 3x per their request and still took over a month to be reimbursed. The wellness coverage is a joke! Save your money!

Good to know Pet's Best has always got our back, when our four legged babies get sick.

We have had Pet's Best Insurance since our dog's were tiny puppies. Fortunately our guys have been in good health most of their lives, so far. However, when they have had any thing serious, Pet's Best has been there to help us with timely reimbursement for treatment received. Thank you.

Pay high premiums and still be out of pocket

Plan to pay out of pocket for anything they call preexisting. And that's anything Embrace can get away with. Then plan to be denied and short changed on claims. Read your policy closely. They seem to love surprising policyholders with bad news. Your vet will have to send records two and three times to get anything processed. And if you have multiple pets, good luck sorting that out. Two dogs can be seen on the same day with claims submitted at the same time but Embrace won't have a clue or will claim not to have a clue as to why you were at the vet, what the diagnosis or treatment was. Everything will be "wellness" and denied.

Avoid this Company

Really poor claims processing. Mistakes that have to be pointed out and they are always in favor of insurer. Two dogs seen on same day but claim that they cannot tell why one is processed properly and the other isn't. Both sent in the same day, both acknowledged the same day. Total crap shoot as to what's covered, excluded, what explanation you get. Any mistake on their part blamed on you or your vet. Just horrid.

So glad I bought this insurance

I purchased Embrace Insurance about 2 years ago when we just had one dog. When we adopted our second puppy (a little over a year ago), we added him to the policy. Our younger dog started limping badly and was diagnosed with a torn ACL. He had TPLO surgery to correct it. The claims procedure was straight-forward and easy. When I had a question and called, the REAL person I spoke with was polite and professional. Best of all, the policy paid extremely quickly. Couldn't ask for more!
