Trupanion is an extremely efficient insurance option for your pet.. I received two checks yesterday and accidentally shredded them, I called and asked if they could stop payment on the checks and there was no hassle at all .They said I would be getting duplicate checks in the mail in about 10 days.�

No hassle, no questions asked.
My cat, Leonidas, broke his leg in two places right before Christmas. He had to have surgery to properly repair it. We are so grateful we didn't even have to think twice about the cost of the surgery or anything other than getting Leo better. We knew we were covered. I filed the claim on a Friday and the reimbursement was in my account on Wednesday. No hassle, no questions asked. Leo is much better now and trying to stay out of trouble.

Trupanion added to my grief
My vet submitted a prescription for Apoquel as a claim to Trupanion for my dog who has been having foot allergy issues. The claim for treatment was denied because a long time ago, my dog had an ear infection (which has been treated and completely gone). Trupanion has denied coverage for the foot allergies due to an ear infection many years ago. I am so angry as this type of rejection of claim seems to happen so frequently with them...usually at the worst possible time too. I had just lost my other dog suddenly and unexpectedly. The whole experience from Trupanion has added to my grief.
