Claims take way too long to review
My claims for this particular dog took way too long to review. After the first review, they requested vet records (which they should've already received from my vet). Then I submitted the vet records and it still took another month to be reviewed again. Seriously rethinking whether I went with the right company.

Extremely thankful for Nationwides support
I couldn’t be more thankful for the support and care I have received. I am so thankful I finally got pet insurance and with Mack’s recent unexpected surgery, which caused so much upset, we are so thankful he is doing great, now. I am happy to have Nationwide on Mack’s side and ours. Thank you!

Peace of mind!
I have had to complete 2 claims since I purchased Nation Wide Insurance for Chase and found that in both cases it was very simple. I have had to deal with Customer Service once & the person I spoke with was very friendly and was able to rectify the situation within a matter of minutes and made the call very pleasant!

Excellent Customer Service
I had a scare with my fur baby. i had never filed a claim before and was very nervous and anxious about how to go about doing so. i called and the person was very gracious, kind and understanding. She took the information and i needed it to be approved that day which was very short notice but they got it done. i went to my vet and had her seen which turned out to be not as bad as i thought it was and in fact didn't need to file a clam. Which was a great thing. Thank goodness for that and Trupaion people for helping me through a stressful and trying time. As all pet parents know when your fur baby is sick there is nothing you won't do for them. I also appreciated the call back to see if she was o.k.

Nationwide is terrible
Not easy to file a claim. Every claim is not picked and you find a way to deny it. I feel like I’m stuck with you now but if I could leave for a different company I would. Awful customer service and you always try to wiggle out of paying claims.

I could not have afforded Lulu's surgery without Healthy Paws!
When I got my next dog (yorkie) after having to put down my sweet Lucy (yorkie), I knew I needed to get insurance. I spent probably $5,000 in the last two years of Lucy's life as she was in kidney failure. What I wouldn't have spent to keep her with me but I did not have ANY health insurance so I paid for everything out of pocket. My new Lulu began urinating a lot in the fall of 2018. Because I knew the symptoms and signs, off to the vet we went. It's been seven months later and she was finally diagnosed with MVD however the vet wanted to do a biopsy to be sure. The surgery alone cost $1,800 (not counting the previous vet bills) and Healthy Paws paid 90%!!! I cried as I could not have afforded it otherwise. I will ALWAYS have Healthy Paws pet insurance. The customer care and ease of reimbursement is the BEST! Thanks HP!
