Terrible claim processing
The claims process is terrible. 30 days to realize that nail trimming is covered under the wellness rider is ridiculous. And of course whenever theres a real procedure done they then send u a letter on the 28th day saying they need more time to look at the claim because they have so many claims open right now. Not to mention the constant struggle to make sure that the claim is being processed correctly and not forgotten

Nationwide has been great!
Nationwide has exceeded my expectations. I was skeptical. The last time I took out pet insurance was in 1999 and it barely paid for itself. Thank goodness things have improved. My puppy has gotten into a bit of trouble and most of my claims have been paid for. The only thing the insurance didn’t pay for was her spay. They even paid for the Heartworm test and medication. Yay!
