JUST DO IT!
Anyone who has pets knows their care can be expensive. Anyone who owns a BiG dog will tell you they are VERY expensive!! After having had operations on 2 Newfoundlands and 1 St. Bernard, we decided to get insurance for our newest Newfoundland members, Jazzy and Reggie. Sadly, Jazzy passed away 2 yrs ago after having numerous surgeries and condidtions requiring medicines that were astronomical in price. It was a terrific comfort to know that Healthy Paws was there to cover it all; never 'kicking' her off the plan. Reggie, 7 y/o was our most healthy Newfie until he was 4. Suddenly, his back legs were giving out. After xrays and an mri he was diagnosed with Wobbler's disease. Two herniated discs in his neck. He was operated on within a week of the diagnosis. The cost of just that surgery was over $10,000.00. Healthy paws was there for him (and us!). Reggie healed quicker than I thought possible and remained healthy until last year. After moving to another state he began having issues with his left leg. Ultimately, he had TPLO surgery Oct. '18; another $4,000.00. He recently became violently ill after having 2 doses of Carprofen after his tooth cleaning. Two nights in the hospital, $1,800.00. He had 2 molars that needed to be pulled or root canaled; $3,958.00. I submitted the invoice thinking they might pay for the anesthesia and blood tests. Healthy Paws paid the entire amount allowed! In the span of 7 months, I submitted over $10,000.00 again and they didn't blink an eye. Reggie, a.k.a, Cosmos Gift, meets many people daily, (often stopping traffic) bringing them smiles as he is the best Newfoundland ambassador. Everyone who tells me they own or want to own a giant breed dog, gets my lecture about care, cost and HEALTHY PAWS INSURANCE. I only wish Healthy Paws would get into the people insurance business! My praise may sound over the top; I assure you it's all true. Since my financial situation changed, they are even more important in my life.

Healthy Paws is the BEST!
Healthy Paws is the absolute best pet insurance on the planet. The customer Service that they provide is top notch! Recently my 15 month puppy became ill with pneumonia and was not responding to the anabiotic’s. During the month she was hospitalized overnight 5 different times at two different emergency hospitals. We had multiple rounds of x-rays and bloodwork as well as two medical procedures that needed Anastasia. My puppy is a rescue and I had only had her insured with Healthy Paws for three months. During the month she was ill I called Healthy Paws a few times because I was concerned about the rising vet costs nearing $10,000.00 and if they were going to continue covering her. The customer service agents were so kind, they listened with compassion and support and assured me they would continue to cover her medical procedures. Their only concern was that my puppy get better. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!

Trupanion lives up to their name TRUE
In a day and age of endless intrusive ads, unwanted phone calls, spammers, and identity thieves, and everyone not living up to their word and trying to find loop holes to avoid commitments not being true to their word - I was most skeptical (and made it known) of Trupanion actually following through on this claim for Little Boy's cataract surgery, which wasn't cheap. Much to my surprise Trupanion was indeed True to their word and faithful to follow through, which helps restore my faith in mankind. What a great team there! I Thank you Trupanion, and Little Boy thanks you for the new life you have helped provide for him that otherwise he would not have received had it not been for you and for YOU being TRUE.

Will not give me my policy number
I have paid this company for almost 2 years they have never provided me with a policy number or given me any thing in writing can’t contact them I hove no phone number. What’s the point in paying for nothing!

Miracle Workers!
Thank you for being in business!!! Our4-year-old dog got into a terrible accident and had to have an emergency knee surgery. We had had the insurance for not that long and i was concerned they would make it extra hard to reimburse the procedure, i was happily wrong. Healthy paws had an amazing turn around time, super friendly, compassionate, and understanding. The process was super smooth and we got our reimbursement within two weeks! talk about peace of mind!!! Their rates are also the most affordable nationwide and their coverage is right up there with other expensive insurance companies. I searched all over the place before settling with them and im so glad i did. thank you healthy paws!!!

Everything went smoothly
I was so scared that when my 6 month old puppy was diagnosed with a major illness (steroid responsive meningitis) that for some reason the insurance would try to find a way to deny it. I was so happy when everything went smoothly and I was quickly reimbursed. I will recommend Pets Best to all my friends!

Absolutely the best company for pet insurance. The plan pays for itself. They are very prompt in processing the reimbursement. Thank you for being an awesome team in helping me when my pets are ill. It gave me great peace of mind knowing Trupanion had my back.
