Trupanion was there for me EVERY STEP OF THE WAY with my previous Allie-Girl. I can't imagine ever having another dog without having Trupanion to protect him/her. Both of my new rescues (Carson and Leah) have Trupanion even though I hope they stay happy and healthy!

VERY HAPPY Trupanion is AMAZING
Quality company- one of the best and easiest companies I've ever done business with - and we have been with them for almost a decade. Our adopted puppy turned out to be a doggy with horrid allergies and Trupanion has seen us thru SO many difficult problems we've encountered trying to control his health and maintain his quality of life/ AMAZING COMPANY !!!

Embrace has been awesome to us through a challenging year with Joey. They have paid all the claims, in a timely manner and have been very kind to us. I wish there were an insurance company for humans that was as compassionate and professional as Embrace. Thank you to all the Embrace staff members!

TPLO surgery for Golden Doodle
Our 6 year old Golden Doodle Sophie unfortunately tore her cruciate ligament and had to have TPLO surgery to repair her leg in January 2020. We have had Trupanion insurance since Sophie was 8 weeks old and have been fortunate in that we have never had to make a claim as we never had any issues with her. TPLO surgery is pretty major and worrying for a pet owner to say the least. It also not cheap and can be a big hit to the pocket book. The day of Sophie's surgery we arrived to pick her up at the vet and received all the post operation information and then were told that Trupanion had already settled most of the bill under our policy. I was so impressed that my vet was able to contact Trupanion and they directly paid the vet so quickly vs. me having to pay the full $4000 bill and submit for reimbursement. On top of that they sent a follow up email with all details of what they covered and ended the email with a nice note asking us to give Sophie lots of hugs! Thank you Trupanion, you really do stand behind all that you advertise. For anyone looking for pet insurance, while you might find cheaper out there I can tell you from experience, Trupanion provides no hassle complete coverage for your pet when you need them the most!!

Claims have never once been denied!
I cannot say enough good things about Embrace. I originally purchased pet insurance through Embrace when I got my Labradoodle Max as a puppy with plans to cancel it after he was a year old and had all his shots/neutering. However, when Max was a puppy I found out that he has severe allergies that have resulted in frequent vet trips and medications, so I decided to keep his pet insurance through Embrace. He eventually was placed on immunotherapy treatment shots weekly & Cytopoint shots monthly - both of which are not cheap! Embrace has covered every single one of his claims since day 1 - and I have never once had to argue with them about reimbursement or have them deny a claim. The claim process is so simple and can be done on their website, via email, mail or fax, and after you submit a claim.. Voila! You get a reimbursement check in the mail! They have even covered emergency hospital trips that were after hours. Customer service is awesome as well! I literally recommend Embrace to every pet owner I meet!

Hands down, the best out there!
With our previous dog, we had gotten pet insurance with a well known national company...and other than routine wellness claims (which went to a deductible), they repeatedly used loopholes and exclusions to deny claims (e.g. a follow up visit for a drug reaction that had caused liver toxicity became "a pre-existing condition"?). When we got a new dog, I asked our vets' front office staff (one in FL and one in NC) which insurance company THEY thought was easiest to work with and had the best coverage. They both said "EMBRACE". We bought a policy from them for our new Lab puppy and all Wellness claims went through easily. This was then followed by 2 events of eating weird things (first at age 1, and recently at age 3+.) Despite having to go to 3 different vet hospitals within 36 hours in order to avoid surgery for a foreign object, Embrace sorted it all out and covered their 80% with no hassle. They processed it all clearly and seamlessly. SO much better that the other company!!!!
