Everything so easy from beginning to end. Great explanation of what I was getting reimbursed for. So easy to submit claim. Very pleased.

PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE! I have paid thousands in premiums for a very healthy 10 year old dog. They have only approved and reimbursed me a TOTAL OF $120! They have denied everything, even claimed her allergy shots and dental cleanings as "pre-existing", even though I have had my coverage with them for over 5 years, and her allergies just started a year ago. I also had wellness coverage with a $100 dental benefit. They denied this because she had plaque on her teeth, so they categorized it as an illness and not wellness. Isn't this why they get dental cleanings? To clean the plaque off? Absolutely ridiculous. They lured me in because of their affiliation with The Dodo, but they take complete advantage of people. They are a shameful company. I am so disappointed I wasted so much money with them before coming to my senses. From one pet lover to another, please, please, do not make the same mistake I did and give this company your money. Your pet would be much better served elsewhere.

Great Experience
Having a diabetic cat is a rollercoaster of emotion and care needs. I am truly grateful for Pets Best Pet insurance. I bought a policy when I adopted my now 15 year old cat at the age of 18 months. When he was diagnosed as diabetic 8 years later, Pets Best was there for us and continues to process claims effiently and with care and understanding. Premiums have naturally gone up, due to his age, and increased costs overall but it is still worth the peace of mind!
Great insurance - consistent and quick!
I have had healthy paws insurance for my dog for 6 years now and have been very happy with it. It has been easy to submit claims, and just in the past year or so, they've updated their interface on the app so that it's even easier and faster. While I used to get claims completed in a couple days, recently it's been completed even within the same day. I like that there are options to different plans (I do wish there were more) and would be great if they covered specialist appointments, but overall, I have been pleased with it and would recommend it to any pet owner.

TPLO Surgery/Rehab
Sadly, my dog tore her CCL/MCL and had to have surgery. My initial claim took a little bit of time, but I was kept informed via email of status. Subsequent claims for rechecks (2), and rehab care have all been paid quickly. From 2 weeks to a matter of days. I have been very happy with this process with Pets Best from beginning to end and am glad that I have insurance for my dogs as these big things are not cheap!

Way simpler than expected
My cat ate polyester stuffing and had to go to the emergency vet. The claims process was extremely easy and everything was processed rapidly. I appreciated the clarity of the EOB too. Overall, I wish my human health insurance operated to the same standard of professionalism!
Lightning fast processing/payout
I submitted a claim at 3am after getting home from a very stressful emergency visit with my pup for sudden seizures. Took me about 3 minutes to submit my claim via the app, including uploading a screenshot of my paid, itemized bill. Visit was 1/27, claim submitted 3am 1/28, claim paid out 1/29. Funds took about a week to hit my bank account, but that’s not a PB issue. I’ve had monthlong waits in the past, so this was an extremely welcome surprise during a brutal time for our family. Great company. I’ve recommended them to everyone who will listen! I’ll never again be faced with choosing between getting the care my pets need or passing because I can’t afford it. There’s so much peace knowing that.

Healthy Paws Went Extra Mile
I had a very positive experience with Healthy Paws. My dog was recently diagnosed with an inoperable tumor and the only treatment was very costly radiation therapy. Healthy Paws covered the bulk of this expensive treatment, plus the also very costly diagnostic tests that preceded it. Moreover, they handled things promptly and professionally so I was able to concentrate on getting my dog the care she needed instead of getting bogged down with all kinds of additional obstacles. This whole process involved numerous (often daily) visits to the vet and Healthy Paws often reimbursed invoices within a day or two of submission (even over the Christmas and New Year’s holiday). I am very grateful for the efficiency and sensitivity in the way they handled things and it made an incredibly stressful ordeal infinitely more manageable.

"I absolutely love Pets Best! Customer service is always helpful and kind and well informed. My dog (Benny) tore both ACLs in less than a year and both were paid for with no problems. Just recently, Benny wouldn't eat and something was clearly wrong. I rushed him to the vet and how I was going to pay for his treatment wasn't something I had to worry about and that meant everything to me. It turns out he most likely had giardia, and he's now fine, but it could have been much worse and I know Pets Best would have been there for me. I know I can provide Benny with the best care possible. Thank you for that peace of mind!"

I cannot express how incredibly grateful my family is to Healthy Paws. Our beloved dog needed multiple surgeries, and each time our insurance claims were quickly processed without question. The app makes it so easy to file claims and the turn around time to receive reimbursement was always within two weeks! Amazing!
