My dog had to do a spinal disc surgery and hospitalized for 3 days, I wouldn't able to afford that large unexpected medical expenses if I didn't have any insurance. It's worthwhile to have pet insurance and Firkin is fantastic, the claim process is quick and easy. Highly recommend

I knew I would need pet insurance when Archie was about 6 months old. I chose Met Life for their exceptional reputation. I built my own plan (there are options) that I thought would best fit our needs. Insurance is to protect one from financial harm, no one ever buys insurance hoping to use it! Met Life on-line claims process is easy. Met Life does what they say they will do! All of our claims have been processed within 15 days and the claim payment is directly deposited in to my account. Again you have payment options. Customer Service is also exceptional! I have moved from state to state and no issues!! If you have a pet, Met Life cannot be beat!!!!! Metlifecom/Pets

My Pets Best policy covers almost everything my dog needs medically so I don't have to worry about going broke to treat her. The timely turn around from claim submittal to reimbursement helps with that as well. Very satisfied with Pets Best and plan to consider Pets Best for my next pet as well. Animals get sick just like people do and I'm very happy this service exists so when crisis hits, I can count on Pets Best to help us through it.

Easy Claims for Chronic Issue
We signed up for Pets Best Insurance the day we brought our puppy home. It has been a godsend! Turns out our dog is allergic to grass. She needs monthly injections to keep the itching and skin rash away or at least to a minimum. I submit the claims as soon as I get home from the vet and within 3 to 4 days I've received reimbursement according to my plan. Submitting the claim is as easy as pushing a few buttons, taking a photo, and writing a brief description of the issue. I'm extremely satisfied with the coverage I have and the service I have received from Pet's Best.

Filing Claims With Them is Like Herding Cats
Pets Best wants certain documentation in a certain way. Failure to provide it EXACTLY as the want it causes claim rejection. Yet their rejection comes without specific comments on how to correct whatever error they came up with. You get a list of possible things. Around and around it goes, weeks and weeks pass, email after email after email. Phone calls don't even resolve it. Finally, if you're lucky, you correctly guess what they want and eventually they process your claim. They eventually honor their contract but by then you've spent all your emotional capital. It's almost like a corporate strategy, but I'm sure no honest business would do such a thing.

Very smooth process to file a claim and receive reimbursement in a timely fashion. I am so grateful Pets Best accommodated and supported us during such a stressful time with my cat's surgery.

"I got Pets Best several months ago. One of my dogs recently suffered a bout of gastroenteritis and I spent several thousands of dollars at 2 vets to try and figure out what was wrong. Both vet offices sent the paperwork directly to Pets Best and I didn't need to do anything. My reimbursement came within 3 weeks. I could not be happier and I'm so glad that I chose this company!!"

"I LOVE Pets Best, seriously I refer everyone I know to them. I have had several very large claims over the last few years (double ACL replacement on one dog, major liver surgery on another, & all 3 dogs being hospitalized for ingesting raisins), things that if I didn't have pet insurance I am not sure I would have been able to pay for and I am so so thankful that because of having Pets Best, I was able to say do whatever you have to, to save my babies. I have heard horror stories of other pet insurances denying claims or capping certain things at whatever amount. I haven't had that experience with Pets Best. I submit my claim, and within basically 2-3 weeks it is reviewed, paid and closed and the explanation of benefits is SO easy to understand. In addition to that special shoutout to CareCredit, because without them I don't know how I would've done it either. Pets Best lets you choose CareCredit for your reimbursement so they sent my claim paid amount right straight to my CareCredit card that I used so there is no hassle with it.
