The process to submit a claim is very easy. What I don’t like is the way MetLife has two pets under the same policy number. This can get confusing when payments are made when multiple claims are submitted on the same day. Also for wellness meds there are no doctors notes to submit when you get your pet’s prescription refilled. Just got two claims kicked back because there wasn’t any doctors notes.

Trupanion Saved My Kitten’s Life
My kitten suddenly developed a urinary tract blockage that became a serious issue that needed a specialist in urinary tract surgery to try to save him. Trupanion covered all they promised to, which was quite a lot. Their reps were there 24/7 reviewing and approving all of the expenses as they get occurred. All of the doctors and emergency centers direct billed Trupanion. And a sweet rep, Becky, even sat on the phone with me in the middle of the night when I thought we’d have to let my kitten die because we couldn’t afford to treat him. Trupanion is wonderful and we highly recommend any pet owner to get Trupanion insurance. I told my children and all of my family members that it was the best thing they could do for their pets. Thank you Trupanion!!!!

Very easy to file claims with online…
Very easy to file claims with online tool. My young tom cat almost died and needed surgery, now recovering but will need medications ongoing. Fetch has covered all so far with many thanks. I'd recommend Fetch and will to anyone considering insurance coverage. The you-file process gives the holder more direct control of the claims process, much better system than having your vet do it.

Outstanding service
Our pet, Charli, suffered a ruptured disc in her back about 7 months ago. Following surgery, we filed a claim with Healthy Paws for the procedure and all that was involved with that, including follow up physical therapy. Healthy Paws was fast and fair in their evaluation of our claims and we were reimbursed in a very timely manner. Since then, Charli, has suffered what appears to be a auto-immune disease. The doctor is still conducted tests and evaluations attempting to pinpoint exactly what Charli is suffering from. Again, we filed claims (and still are as the treatment is ongoing) with Healthy Paws. Again, Healthy Paws was fast and fair in their evaluation of our claims and we were reimbursed in a very timely manner. I only wish other insurance companies I have dealt with were as fast, fair, and proficient as Healthy Paws.

Spot pet insurance has been great
Spot pet insurance has been great. We placed Bella on the plan when she was a puppy and did not have to use it for 4.5 years. However when we needed the insurance Spot picked up their part of the tab. Thank you Spot.

Logging on to Pet Ins was EASY
Logging on to Pet Ins was EASY. Sign up was simple. Contact info, type of dog, age, and Vet name all easy to provide. I didn't go with 5 stars because I was confused with the choice of plans: Accident or Illness ? As a customer, I want both. There does't seem to be a 'both' option. Further, I don't understand why my Plan will not be effective for two weeks. You requested two months payment up front and you are delaying services for two weeks. And, based upon this fact, I wish I could change the review to just THREE stars. However, you locked in 4 already - before my written review was complete. Again, NOT customer friendly.

Completely deceptive coverage and…
Completely deceptive coverage and reimbursement policies. The only scenario in which this policy makes sense is if your dog has multiple, different, health issues per year. A single, life threatening malignancy that required $5K in treatment was reimbursed for $500 because it was a single incident

I’ve been with Spot for over a year
I’ve been with Spot for a year now and I absolutely love it! Claims are handled in a timely manner and everything is always taken care of with love and care! I’ve never thought of changing companies because it’s just so perfect
