I have always been able to count on Trupanion To be there for our dog Bailey and they have always come through for her with immediate care . I would never change or cancel Trupanion has we have had excellent care and support. They are number one in our books

Lately claims have been taking too long to process. Those of us on fixed or lower incomes have to pay up front and being out the money for 1-2-3 weeks is a financial hardship. However Alexis the girl I spoke with was very nice and pleasant.

Unreliable
I signed up my one rescue - everything is fine. I sign up my second rescue - everything appears okay. I received confirmation that they have received her sign up information, and her insurance would be available within 48 hours. My dog was then injured and required a $3000 surgery. When I went to go view my coverage, her name was no longer on the account. When I called, they said there is nothing they can do and because my dog was not diagnosed with the injury, it will not be covered. I understand that they will not cover pre-existing conditions, but I am disappointed that due to a system error on their end, I cannot be covered now. I do not trust this company, and for this reason I cannot recommend them.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service and reimbursement on par with Trupanion. 80% coverage with much more reasonable deductibles and monthly payments. Also, add to the fact there is 24/7 Veterinary assistance line and access to a symptom app.

Soooooo easy!
Recently my girl needed surgery. I had not set up my account online so i called Trupanion. A representative helped me and I was done in 10 minutes. Two days later the money was in my account. Trupanion is great!

Trupanion made me smile
After filing my claim yesterday, I received a response today. Trupanion covered what they said they would cover, quickly and efficiently. But while this quick response made me smile it’s not what brought tears to my eyes. It was the comment,”Give Milo some extra love for us.” Those caring words written by a stranger assured me that out of all the pet insurance companies I picked the right one.
