FETCH is the best!
I’ve been with Trupanion and Pet Secure with different pets. The last 5 years I’ve been with FETCH and they have the most comprehensive coverage, a great App that is easy to use and excellent customer service.

I was so skeptical of pet insurance companies but Healthy Pet has been beyond supportive and astonishing fast in sending payment also has the simplest submittal process. Their app has all info in one place super simple to access.

My experience with Lemonade
At first they seemed ok. I have a puppy now 11 months old. I received money back on vaccines. He got kennel cough, I sent them the bill but they needed to contact my vet for more information. I think they may have covered something. The real issue I had was when I neutered my puppy. They covered the neuter as it says in my contract.. which they kept referring back to. They don’t tell you that they don’t cover the anesthesia, the laser, or even the medication you get sent home with. I was very surprised. The neuter itself was $343, they reimbursed me $120. He did need some teeth removed but I already knew that wouldn’t be covered. However, there is a list of about $247 of things I thought would be covered including anesthesia & the laser required for surgery, as well as medication for after care.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE IN ALL ASPECTS OF INSURANCE. MY LABRADOR HAS HAD EXTENSIVE ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY AND TREATMENTS DUE TO ARTHRITIS AND A BIRTH DEFECT. HEALTHY PAWS INSURANCE HAS COME TO THE RESCUE. ONGOING TREATMENTS AND SURGERY BILLS HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF USUALLY WITHIN 48-72 HOURS. COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 5 STARS

Lynn is at the mercy of your system.
Lynn is at the mercy of your system. Trupanion stumbled on my claim with the lame excuse that they hadnât downloaded a weeks worth of emails and claims. My 5 year old dog ended up passing away from and inoperable mass and not only was the fact that we had insurance a moot point; Trupanion originally claimed his vet bills were ineligible due to their own confusion and added pressure to an already horrible situation. They ultimately approved the claim but the added chaos is not appreciated. I notice they are never late or have trouble when they want their payment. Sad and disappointing. Not Lynnâs fault but definitely the companyâs.

I have had Pet Insurance on ALL my animals for well over 20 years. All have had TruPanion as to me, they are the best. I have multiple animals always Currently I have 3 cats and am preparing for 2 dogs....all will have pet insurance. TruPanion is like family to me....the ease, thoroughness and understanding of your situation in placing a claim, talking to someone who truly understands and empathizes with you is wonderful - especially when you are going through it. Please remember, it is not IF something will happen, it WHEN.
