Friendly, helpful, and informative. It was my error to begin with and she helped me resolve the situation despite it being about a claim from 6 months ago. I was able to get it processed properly and go towards my pet's deductible.

Well worth the investment
Well worth the investment! It’s only March and my dog has had the misfortune of going to the ER twice. By signing up for the wellness plan as well I’ve already fulfilled my deductible (via annual exam, vaccines, Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives,etc….) and so received hundreds back on those emergency visits. It gives me complete peace of mind knowing that if my dog needs to go to the ER for anything I don’t have to hesitate and worry about the cost. This plan has me covered and I can just focus on getting my dog the care she needs. So happy I chose MetLife coverage for my little girl!

Trupanion saved our dog
Trupanion saved our dog! Our 15 year old pup was sick, and ended up needing emergency care, Trupanion covered 90% of his bill upfront, which we wouldn’t have been able to afford. They got our dog the care he needed, and we will always be grateful!

I'm not particularly enjoying it so 3 feels generous... I got this insurance through a rescue, so it's kind of odd I keep getting asked for soap notes from before that because he's only been to this one vet since I've adopted him. I can't provide soap notes from before that, so I'll submit all this stuff (including that vet's soap notes) and I get an email saying "submit soap notes!" well i did submit them for the claims and you know i got this insurance through Retriever Rescue? that part's a bit annoying. I didn't even include the prescription invoices for the meds i had to pay for... there should be an option "is this your first vet visit ever?" as that's the only explanation i can think of for getting asked for soap notes when i already submitted them.

I'm so glad I selected MetLife for my pet insurance. I was with another company with my previous dog, and the claims process was cumbersome and confusing. MetLife makes it easy to file a claim. The process is fast and thorough. I also appreciate the 1st question: "Is your pet okay?" Great company. Customer for life!
