Need to appeal
I have already recommended Trupanion to more than one friend. I was dismayed at my claims experience because each invoice was handled and reported on separately, which was confusing to me. It was difficult to follow the amounts deducted to meet the deductible and the line items that were disqualified for some reason. I do not understand why exam fees were disqualified when they were part of diagnosing the illness and treating the illness as subsequent visits were made to the vet. How can the vet prescribe treatment without an examination? The exam costs on the bills I submitted were not for a health and wellness visit. They were for an undiagnosed illness that after 1 1/2 years was finally diagnosed as Cancer! These visits were costly. I don't know how to submit an appeal and frankly, talking to someone on the phone is very difficult since I lost my furbaby to this horrible disease and even putting the invoices together and submitting the claim was traumatic. I would like to have someone call me to discuss this. Thank you.

WE CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT TRUPANION!
Trupanion is AMAZING! They have been there every step of the way with out 3-year old furbaby. Our vet and our local emergency animal hospital both participate, which makes claims processing a breeze. They submit the bill - I instantly receive a text that it is being processed and within 3-5 minutes receive a claim approval and what our co-pay is. Zero paperwork! I loved it because you can select your own deductible and then they pay 90% of the balance after the office visit charge. This will be the only pet insurance we purchase from now on. They make you feel like they really care about your pet!

Trupanion is a dog parents' best friend
I have had Trupanion since my Loki was a puppy, and every time something happens with my boy, I feel a relief that I have Trupanion. Vets are expensive, and not having to decide on my boy's care because of cost is great. The whole process with Trupanion is pretty great. Quick claims, decisions, and turn around. I also really like the direct billing. Thanks, Trupanion team. I constantly refer anyone who asks to your company because it just makes sense.
