Trupanion is true to their word.
I am so grateful that my husband and I chose Trupanion insurance for our Daisy. We recently had to take her to an after hours emergency clinic after she swallowed a drop earring that had fallen to the floor. The vet was concerned about the possibly of the sharp part of the post causing internal damage. He first tried to scope and fish it out and when he was unable to get it like that, he performed abdominal surgery. This, of course, was quite costly. Trupanion has very kind workers and I was walked through the claim process. They covered exactly as advertised. It is a shame that it is hard to believe the advertised coverage claims of companies these days, but I will gladly recommend Trupanion to family, friends, and even strangers if asked.

Both Vets contacted Trupanion while we were in the office with our pet. The response and approval only took a few minutes. We were then free to schedule procedures and know what the cost would be. Very fast and efficient.

Maggie R's Hyperthyroidism Treatment
This was the same cat procedure done 4 years ago with Maggie's sister. Back then, the reimbursement process was a "4" ... it sucked. Much better streamlined with the FHTC billing Trupanion directly. I still believe very strongly that after paying monthly as much as I do, the insurance should cover (at least on a percentile basis) those other procedures essential to the full treatment for hyperthyroidism.

Trupanion has been very fair.
Trupanion has been very fair. My German Shepherd had a very serious illness. Without Trupanion, and the very kind help I received from the folks who actually answer the phones, I donât know what I would have done. Reimbursement was very quick, hassle-free, and frequently, when I was at the end of my rope, kind words made a huge impact.
