Generally it is very good. Recently I have one drug that they continue to not pay every time I buy it even though it is part of his current condition and after we remind them it is paid. It is very annoying that I have to continually get the claim redone

Excellent Service!
It was a scary time for us when our 8 y/o GSD developed gastric problems that led to rapid weight loss and dehydration. While the emergency veterinary clinic was able to quickly treat him and turn around the problem, the treatment was costly. Trupanion was there for us from the beginning with fast responses to quotes sent by the vet team and immediate and concise status reports to me regarding my claim. I was able to concentrate on making decisions regarding his treatment without financial distractions. That's why we bought this insurance for both our dogs in the first place and I am pleased to say we were completely happy in with that aspect of the experience. Thanks Trupanion.

Insurance rate increase!
Claims experience is easy. Was not happy after submitting a claim that you almost doubled my monthly payment after having you for a number of years. I think thatâs really poor customer service.

slow response for the first time
The last claims I submitted especially the one from 5/26/23 is not decisioned. More importantly, this is exactly the reason we have pet insurance! For the first time in the six years we have had your coverage, I am very disappointed.

Million Dogs!
I can't say enough about Healthy Paws and the care they have enabled me to give my dogs! They came through every time. My dogs ended up being pretty high maintenance and there were many expensive hospital and vet bills over there lifespan. The peace of mind is invaluable in knowing that whatever procedure is needed to help your pet, can be given without hesitation knowing that Healthy Paws will be there for you and your pets! That is invaluable!! All of their many Vets know that whatever procedure or treatment they think my dogs need, I would not hesitate to say: "Yes, do it!" They always have to ask anyway. I thank them so much for their kindness and consideration thought all the challenges and especially my Fur Angel's last days.! I just received a condolences card from them that brought the tears flowing again as they are right now in writing this! Purchasing Pets Best was one of the best decisions I ever made for my dog and my wallet! The plan I chose covers 90% of all accident and illness after a $250 annual deductible, with an unlimited annual cap. The benefits have paid for the low monthly premiums many, many, many times over the the life of my dog. And, unlike most insurance plans these days, the Pets Best explanation of benefits is always 100% accurate - I never find any inappropriate denials or incomprehensible language, so I never dread having to argue about coverage with an anonymous representative speaking a language different from mine! Pets Best has really come through for us and I am really very grateful - I only wish I had also purchased the wellness benefit when my pup was a baby! Thank you Pets Best! You’re stuck with us!

Lemonade-it worked well
My dog had some pretty concerning stomach problems and needed several diagnostic tests which found nothing wrong- great news but was thinking Lemonade might balk at paying since nothing of note was found. No problem with the claim-handled efficiently and well-I highly recommend Lemonade insurance.
