I signed up with Pets Best 3 years ago after my vet recommended insurance. My 3 year old yorkie had just had surgery to remove bladder stones. I called Pets Best and explained the situation. They told me that he was Not high risk and they would cover surgery for bladder stones in the future if necessary. Unfortunately 3 years later he had stones again. They would not cover the $1600 surgery and told me it was "pre-existing". I would never have gotten the insurance! I hate when people lie to make money!

Hi Julie, we don’t pre-authorize claims or guarantee coverage for any pet or condition, and any condition that develops prior to purchasing pet insurance (or during the waiting period) is excluded from coverage.
The sales call has been reviewed and we confirmed that no claim was pre-authorized and no condition was guaranteed to be covered. We hope your dog is feeling better.
