I am thoroughly impressed with Embrace! A couple of months ago, we got the $10k annual ($50k lifetime) coverage, with a $200 annual deductible and 20% co-payment, and the optional prescription coverage, for our then-just-under-1-year-old Boxer. We mainly chose Embrace because they cover the cost of the office visit and they don't use a scheduled plan. Immediately, I was impressed with the customer service communications from Embrace, just in setting up the paperwork. Then, a few weeks ago, we submitted our first claim. Again, the customer service was amazing. Upon receiving our claim (which we were able to e-mail to them as a PDF scanned on our printer -- so easy!), they e-mailed us to say they'd have a response in 2 weeks. In 2 weeks, to the exact day, they emailed to apologize for taking so long, explaining that they were switching over to a new computer system and that it would be 1 more week. I was very impressed that they even bothered to keep me in the loop! The other day, I got the refund. The attached Explanation of Benefits was clear and easy to follow. The refund was exactly what we were expecting, which is to say, awesome. For us, it made sense to get pet insurance, and I'm very glad we chose Embrace.
