3 years with VPI and I recommend them highly

I have had VPI pet insurance on my AmStaff mix, Clarence, for almost three years. I could not be happier with them. I have the Wellness plan that covers basic maintenance, such as check-ups, vaccinations, and teeth cleaning, and the superior plan that covers illness, injury, etc. I could not be happier with VPI. I have had many pets in my life, but in the past, I only took my pets to the vet for shots once a year, and other than that, we only went to the vet if they were sick or injured. I now take Clarence to the vet twice a year for check-ups, and I get his teeth cleaner once a year. During a recent check-up, I mentioned to my vet that Clarence seems to be walking a little uncomfortably. Our vet gave him an x-ray and found arthritis in his back. Shortly afterward, Clarence developed a urinary tract infection. He also has a recurring yeast infection on his toes, recurring ear infections, and allergies. Thanks to VPI, I have been able to tell the vet to do whatever he needs to do to treat Clarence. We all know how expensive veterinarian care can be, and I honestly don't think I would be able to care for Clarence as well without this coverage. Having this insurance has enabled me to take better care of Clarence than I would have been able to without it. I have been pleased with the reimbursements, but I know what amount to expect, as I check the benefit schedule. The benefit schedule clearly shows what the maximum payments are for a given diagnosis, and explains
