In my opinion PetPlan is defrauding policyholders by misstating the actual amount of the deductible and by closing / denying claims without any notification to the policyholder

I don't know this person's situation, but I know mine...and Pet Plan has been an amazing company and has been above board with all of our claims and payments. In fact, when one was denied recently, I contested it and explained why it should have been fully covered and they agreed and paid, no hassles. Maybe this reviewer didn't try to work it out with them, maybe there was an error somewhere that simply needed to be corrected...all I know is they have been extremely customer-friendly, willing to help and excellent at covering everything they are supposed to. Our pup had to have major surgery and it was all covered, no hassles!!

I wish the poster gave more information too.
I posted about my experience with PetPlan, and they have already tried to deny a claim I had, making an assumption from the doctor's notes when my cat was first brought in after being adopted.

They also close claims and don't notify you too.

That said, it is encouraging to read that you went through this too, but were able to appeal it. I hope this poster does what you recommend. I will.
