Couldn't be happier!!

Out of 10

About 9 months ago we switched pet insurance plans for our puppy, Ella (she is about a year and a half old German Shepard/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix)from Sheltercare to PetPlan after doing extensive research on each company and comparing costs v. benefits. Petplan came recommended by a friend and the cost was actually much lower than what I was paying monthly and to my surprise actually covered much much more! I can proudly say now that we could not be happier with our decision!! We found out in May that Ella was suffering from severe hip displasia (on a scale of 1-10, we were told she is at about a 9)and would require surgery on both hips. After 3 consultations, we knew we did not have much choice but to move forward with the hip surgery if we wanted her to have a good quality of life. Although we originally insured Ella for the fear of being faced with big health issues and high costs such as this, when she was diagnosed, we still worried that because it was hereditary, insurance would not cover the surgery, medications, therapy, etc. even though they said they did. (As most people know, insurance is usually very hard to deal with, and they seem to find loop holes in everything to deny claims) To our surprise, PetPlan is completely different and absolutely incredible! Ella has now had her first of two surgerys and within two weeks of submitting each claim for her consultations, surgery, medications, and physical therapy, Petplan kept us informed of the status of each claim and
