I have had VPI insurance for about 6 years and I have to say it has been a blessing. Stanley (my dog) seems to be accident prone but I would not trade him for the world. When I say accident prone I really mean it. My little guy has been attacked by a pit bull, stung by bees(he's allergic to bees), fallen off the bed, fed chicken bones by the crazy neighbor, was sprayed by a skunk(he is also allergic to skunk oil), and had rashes from an antique wool rug(yes, he is also allergic to wool I found out)but I have never experienced anything but sincere, kind and helpful people at VPI. I have read some of the reviews and I can only say that VPI has gone above and beyond for Stanley and I. VPI covers my claims and when I have a large ER bill it has been covered (as you can imagine there have been many). VPI covers Stanley for teeth cleaning, flea treatment, heart worm, wellness visits, cancer(a big one which most insurance policy companies do not cover as I have heard in vet offices from other patients with other coverage),accident and allergy claims. If you try other insurances good luck to you but Stanley and I are going to stay with VPI forever. VPI is the best for coverage when you really need it and as you can see Stanley and I have found this out first hand but like I said good luck if you think there is better out there. Hope this message helps you make an informed decision.
