May as well not have insurance.

Out of 10

I have two Shih Tuz's and one had to have metal plates in his front legs and they claimed it was a hereditary condition age 1 1/2 and then the other one had a scratch on her eye which got infected and almost lost her eye and ASPCA called that hereditary age 1 1/2 so there was never any payments made even for the hospitalization that was required because they said it was boarding costs. I would definitely not buy this insurance and I have canceled after one year with $0 money ever reimbersed.

If you read the policy you recieved, then you would know that ASPCA does not cover herditary conditions. That conidition is not based on age, it comes with the breed.
