On August 13, I took an Accident/ Illness policy out for my new puppy, Penguin. On February 10 she was taken to the Veterinary Hospital at the University of Montreal in St. Hyacinthe Q.C. After a day of diagnostic tests and evaluations, Penguin was scheduled for surgery on February 12. She was released after a bill of $4205.64 was paid.
Finally, after submitting the claim to Pets Plus Us, several times, I received an email from the company which stated the amount of $0.00 was payable.
I spent a VERY long time on the phone with a representative and listening to awful music. It was just like talking to the wall. Shame on Costco for supporting such a scam!
