I cancelled a policy with Trupanion, only to have them bill me for two months after the cancellation was received. I did not have an active account with Trupanion at the time. Trupanion went into an inactive account, where my billing information had been kept, and billed me without authorization. Only when I questioned, and emailed several times, did they respond and issue a partial refund. They pro-rated my refund - when they didn't even have authorization in the first place, and pro-rated a refund on a cancelled policy! I have other pet lover friends that are with Trupanion and have mentioned to me lately that they are not the company they used to be. It's extremely disappointing.
