Terrible insurance-- do not use them!!

Pets Best made a very stressful time with a sick and dying cat 10 times worse. I will never use them again. I had to follow up on claims (of over $7,000 all said and done) a total of SIX different times. What I was told on the phone and what they showed on their online system/app were frequently two totally different things. The claims process is lackadaisical-- I had to send the same paperwork four different times because each time a new Pets Best representative would tell me they had never received it. 2.5 months after the initial claim was submitted, I STILL have not gotten resolution on any of the 6 claims submitted between then and now, including sadly having to put my cat down. And even then, after submitting final claims for euthanasia, I had to call AND email to have my policy cancelled due to her death. (At which point I was asked AGAIN about the paperwork that had been sent four times prior). Disorganized, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time and money. Look elsewhere!!

Hi, records requested show your vet notate a diagnosis of the claimed condition dating back to April 2018. The policy was enrolled in July of 2018, deeming this condition pre-existing by any pet insurance company. If you disagree with the claim decision, you may file an appeal with supporting documents from the clinic. Have a good day!
