Shout out to Happiness Manager Melissa D. - she went above and beyond assisting me shake out coverage details for my policy and claim. Unfortunately my kitty got sick within the 15 day exclusionary period after purchasing insurance, but when I reached out to inquire what if anything would be covered, Melissa patiently walked me through the details and even commissioned the underwriting team to do a free analysis of his illness history (and he'd been sick a lot lately - hence me buying this plan!) to see if anything else would be considered a pre-existing condition and for how long. And when my vet didn't provide adequate info for the underwriters on the first attempt, Melissa personally called them to get the necessary details. I really appreciate that extra effort. I haven't yet experienced a processed and approved claim, but I am sure I will be treated with the excellent service Melissa provided when that happens. Thanks PetPlan and Melissa!
