Because my cat had a cough within the 14 day waiting period (treated and cured with an antibiotic) they are now ruling all costs associated with Asthma as a Pre-existing condition.
THEY SUCK!!!!

If the cough wasn't related to Asthma, and your vet didn't diagnose the pet with Athsma at the time, then you can request that the exclusion is removed. They have the information on how to do that within their FAQs section.

lol. Sadly I think VV is right! I just got off the phone w/an operator from PetPlan because I was unable to find any online reviews. She lead me to this site and said that her name is on a "couple" of them

I think many of these are real reviews. The woman who said her name is on some of them was probably referring to the "company response" comments which are allowed here. I have already seen one review with such a comment. I personally think very highly of a company which reviews it's customer comments and even higher of one that will take the extra effort to leave a comment where appropriate. And for the record, I do not work for a pet insurance company. I also don't have a pet yet, so no pet insurance either.

I have to agree. I also believe these reviews to be legit. If they weren't, we'd see a ton of negative reviews from pet owners who signed up because of the positive reviews and are returning extra angry because they felt misled. Not seeing that.

I did not think Petplan recognized 'pre-existing' conditions. Think I better re-read-up on Petplan.
