Can't ask for more from them!

Out of 10

I brought my two cats, Skippy & Buzz for annual exam on May 22, 2010. During the exam, Skippy has a hard time breathing. At first we thought that he's stressed out, but after a x-ray examination, it turned out that he has a heart failure, and I was told he might not make it through the weekend. He was immmediately transfered to an 24 hours crital care hosptial and He has to stay in an oxygen cage for the first two days. Luckily, with a lot of tests and treatments, Skippy was able to go home on May 25, 2010. However, because Skippy's situation is very severe, we have to follow up with a cardiologist. At the same time, my other cat, Buzz (who's in the same litter with Skippy), was diagnosed heart diesease as well. So within a month, I has been going in and out to the vet and the cardiolist for 7 times, and this costed me around $4,500. I have been with Petplan for only a year, and I never claim such a big amount, so I'm little anxious in the beginning that how much they would reimbursed. I submitted my claims along with the invoices and medical notes to them and few days later, I got an email from one the claims adjuster - Staci, saying that there're several invoices and claim forms that she cannot read, and see if I can re-send them, so it won't delay my claims. I re-scan the documents and email them to her the next day, and 3 days later, I recieved 6 checks from them, with the total amounts -$3974.99, about 90% of my bill. Petplan didn't physically save my cats'life
