We have had two different dogs insured through this company for about 15 years. We have never had any issues with them and they have covered nearly all the claims submitted over the years, without any questions. From one dachshund accidentally drinking 1/2 of a frozen margarita on New Year's Eve to another dachshund eating strange things; to cancer treatment for one to herniated disk surgery for the other; ASPCA has covered all sorts of incidents. As others have stated, their customer service and personal follow up is superb. We received a phone call and a sympathy card after the loss of one dachshund to cancer and follow up calls of concern when another dachshund had extended bouts with "mystery" gastritis.
They've always been prompt to process and reimburse for claims, but I love their newer system, which allows for uploading cell phone photographs of invoices and filling out claim forms online--super easy and my claim was processed that much quicker. This was especially helpful to have that option when we were in a hotel during a recent move.
