great peace of mind

Out of 10

My Berger Picard Sprocket got away from his walker to take off after a squirrel and started limping. My vet recommended we see a specialty veterinary surgeon. The surgeon diagnosed a cranio-caudal ligament tear and recommended TPLO surgery for it. At 2 weeks, Sprockets sutures came out and we started 20 minute walks, adding 5 minutes each week. At one month, he was walking pretty well, and the vet 'fast-tracked' his next followup to 7 weeks post-operatively. Sprocket was released to all activity then. He is back to playing with his buddies and happy and healthy. I submitted my claim to VPI about a week after the surgery. I was paid almost 100% within 3 weeks. Never any hassle. I can recommend VPI with all my support. Both my dogs are covered and it really does give me peace of mind.
