I've had to report VPI several times to the State Board of Insurance over how they have chosen to reimburse items & the hell they have put me through trying to get simple things reimbursed. They denied things that were very much covered according to their policy. Several times on the letter sent back after they review a claim I found they had CHANGED the vet's diagnosis (which was covered under policy) to one that VPI did not cover. They didn't even have the medical records in their hands nor could they give me a good reason on why they had changed the diagnosis. Can you say shady!?! There have been a lot of complaints about them to the state recently. Needless to say, I will not be a return customer to VPI.
