Kindness during My Grief

We had to say good-bye to our precious Mandy, a lab mix 16rs. 8 mos old, on 9/5/2013 due to age related problems and cancerous tumors in her mouth. My Mother had passed away 2 days before, so you can only imagine the grief I was feeling. I went to the Pet Plan website and notified them so they could cancel Mandy's insurance. The grief I was feeling caused me to accidentally put in the policy number of our other dog, Lady. Once I received notification of the amount we would be refunded, I realized my mistake. I immediately e-mailed them that night and called the next morning at 8:30a.m. My mistake had already been corrected by Pet Plan and I was notified they would be sending me a $25 gift card, even though it was my mistake and not theirs.
Thank you Pet Plan so much for getting this all straightened out so quickly. Brittany also called me back to make sure I understood everything.
I have always bragged about Pet Plan to everyone I know. They have always made it so easy to file claims for Mandy in the past. Refunds are issued quickly. My sister-in-law decided to change her pet insurance to Pet Plan several years ago and PetPlan sent me a gift card for referring her. Now everyone I have spoken with via phone or e-mail has been so caring and kind concerning the passing of Mandy as well as my Mother. I could not have asked for a better experience while facing the loss of my Mother and Mandy. I love PetPlan!
