Ace is an English Bulldog who is always the center of attention wherever he goes - and he's been to a lot of places - cross country road trips, weddings, film shoots and so much more. We've had him since he was 8 weeks old and he's absolutely my best friend. VPI has always been quick to process claims for the minor reasons he's been the vet over the years (skin rashes, etc), but recently their true value has been felt. In February 2013 we were devastated to learn that a pain he was experiencing in his mouth was Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his upper jaw. The location made it inoperable. We removed a small exterior growth and began the process of fighting back with chemotherapy. As the bills have climbed well into the thousands VPI has been excellent. The "Cancer Rider" addition to his insurance plan has literally saved his life at this point. The chemo has done wonders for him and while we continue to fight, it's been amazing to have VPI in our corner. Whenever people ask how Ace is doing, explaining all that VPI has done is a necessary part of the conversation.
