We tried this plan and found it helpful while our dog was very young. However, Banfield as a company has some strange and annoying tactics, like calling to say we have an appointment scheduled when we hadn't scheduled one (several times). We were told they do this to encourage you to bring your pet in, but in reality they have already made an appointment (often during our work hours or other commitments.If you question their strange tactics they get rude. I agree with others that they encourage more services than necessary. Cancelled now. Will find a private vet we can get to know and insurance that meets our needs, not the wellness benefits that definitely increase the profits for the employees. Also, no benefits for accidents or illness.
