My Miracle Kitty is alive because of PetPlan!

My Cat, Blackie, survived three heart attacks the day after surgery: a rare reaction to anesthesia and an intense medication schedule. The third heart attack occurred in my arms, en route to the hospital. It took almost 20 minute to revive him, and he had less than a 1% chance of ever being a normal, functional cat. The lack of oxygen to his brain caused permanent blindness, but other than that, he was completely functional when I brought him home one week later.
As amazing as Blackie's story is, the sad reality is that Blackie wouldn't be here if it wasn't for PetPlan. That one week cost close to $10,000 and I am on unemployment, so I had to borrow the money from family members, and the sad truth is that no one would have fronted me the money if I didn't have years of positive experience with PetPlan.

Blackie had to have both of his eyes removed last December, and in the process of preparing him for General Anesthesia (it took weeks of tests, as well as the help of a Veterinary Anesthesiologist), I found out that PetPlan would actually reimburse the Veterinary Clinic directly. I can't tell you what a relief it was to not put any money down!

I can't say enough about PetPlan! Blackie is alive because of you. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!!!

Are you keeping your sick blind cat around for his benefit or yours? I dont know in your specific situation but i can see a problem with pet insurance, owners allowing there pets to suffer way too long because they arent paying the bill.

Hi Danny,
It's 2 1/2 years later and my cat couldn't be doing better! His blood work is perfect, he's more active than he's been in years, and he even accepted his little brother, Bali, who I rescued.

We had to removed his eyes because his glaucoma spiraled out of control, and he's been a different cat ever since we removed his eyes, and I mean that in the best of ways! I need to update this video, but you can watch his journey here:
