I've had PetPlan for all three of our pugs for a number of years. Poor Nacho (our youngest) suffered an intestinal obstruction from a Palm nut (orange fruit). He had to have surgery to rectify this. Fortunately after they induced general anesthesia it started moving (so they didn't have to make an incision of his intestine, just the abdomen). The total bill was $4,000 and PetPlan paid $3,000 of it.
Peace of mind that if your pet needs any kind of treatment, PetPlan will pick up their part of the tab and pay quickly (less than a week after I submitted the claim).
One of our other pugs has a seizure disorder and again quick payment, and unlike other insurers, they will continue to cover her for year after year (it is not a "pre-existing illness" when it comes time to renew).
