greed and insensitive

We used banfield for our dog for the past 12+ years. I paid each month for this entire time. we also used alot of other Banfield services during the 12 + years. I had to have our dog put down on Saturday at banfield. I can`t believe they insist I pay for the rest of the year. I can`t use their services my dog is dead. I could understand thier position if I was changing vets or just wanted to cancel. However, this is nothing but greed and insensitivity. The pet care was good I have no complaints about that. This final incident is just to incredible to believe. I have to pay for service I cannot use doesn`t seem at all right or justified.

I agree, I to lost my cockerspaniel a month after the renewal, and I had to pay the monthly payments for 11 months. I think they do need to make changes. Greedy Greedy if you ask me..

I have to agree with David. Banfield should offer immediate suspension of policy if the pet passes away and you have been with them the entire life of the pet. I suggest Banfield look into this and make some changes with regard to long time policy holders.
