$14.95 for WHAT???

I don't even have pet insurance, but I wanted to inform people about another layer of slime coating this company. Like most everyone at some point, my phone number changed and I wanted to alert 24PetWatch of the change. To my surprise, they wanted to charge me $14.95, PER PET, to update their database. Just to be clear, there was no change of ownership; only the phone number changed. Or, if I wanted, I could pay $49.95 a YEAR for the privilege of maintaining updated contact information. So now the microchips in my babies are useless.

With EVERY microchip company, there is a fee. How you a company continue to be in service with customers to be available to maintain your info, for the benefit of YOUR pet. Sounds harsh, but its reality. By paying an annual fee or a lifetime fee, you not only are able to always have your info secured and stored in case your pet is lost, but agents avail 365 days a year 24 hrs per day to answer the call to inform YOU your pet has been found. So the next time you think the company your have is a low blow company for charging, read and understand the benefits which includes a SMALL and reasonable price.
