VPI has me in tears

Out of 10

My dog has been enrolled with them since a puppy and was recently diagnosed with arthritis and Hip Displasia. They won't pay a cent for either of those, even though when you google pet insurance and Hip Displasia, VPI is the first to come up as covering it. Vet bill before that was internal bleeding (from the nose) which ended up being just a nosebleed cost me $800 of testing and they did not pay a cent of that either. I have the Superior Plan which doesn't cover anything, not even $20 pain meds even though she is screaming in pain. I am sorry I did not switch her to another plan sooner. They call conditions pre-existing even when they appear on my vet records for the first time. wtf?
