They have have been very reliable throughout the years.

We purchased Shultz's pet insurance when he was young and healthy. He is now 10 and has some difficulties. His pet insurance has always come through for us. Every pet owner should have insurance for their babies, there will likely be a time you will need it.

Takes too long to be reimbursed

Everything okay submitting the claim, apart from Customer Services agent gave me the wrong email to send it to! Delay #1. When I finally emailed it to the correct desk, phoned 10 days later, spoke to SAME Customer Services agent who advised all would be sorted by 3 days later. Called again on 4th day, only to be told that agent was incorrect! Delay #2. Finally received my 80% back about 4 weeks after submitting first claim.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

hello, I cancelled my membership with you in August and I am looking at my credit card bills and see you have been charging me without my knowledge or permission. I am owed 3 months worth of payments back and have been trying to find a login or somewhere to recancel because apparently you guys didnt get the message the first time. There is nowhere on your website that is helpful for actual customers only stuff for trying to lure people into becoming a member. I am deeply upset and very very angry and will definetly be telling EVERYONE ON EVERY DOG PAGE I FIND NOT TO USE YOU

Monthly Cost

Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. There is no upper age limit.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.

Exclusions

All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement. All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
